Kūpuna Connections wins Hawai‘i's Digital Equity Innovation Award for Community Impact

During National Digital Inclusion Week, the first-ever Digital Equity Innovation Awards (DEIA) celebrated pioneers and advocates working to bridge Hawai‘i’s digital divide. Hosted by the Hawai‘i Broadband and Digital Equity Office, the event recognized leaders in broadband access and digital skills, including Ken Dickinson who accepted the award on behalf of Kūpuna Connections and the entire community that made the project possible.  Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke praised the winners for their collective efforts stating, "Mahalo to the dedicated community champions who are paving the way to create a future that keeps us all connected for generations to come.”
